Hosted by The Natural Theatre Company, Widcombe Rising promises a street party of extraordinary and fanciful proportions.
Beautifully… “A whole street has been put aside for sporting activities, and in line with the aforementioned quirky spelling obsession, this will be dubbed Avenue of the Olympicks.” This is where you’ll find The Delegates hard at work proposing new games and talent-spotting future Brazil 2016 Olympians.
We heartily believe that Tiddlywinks, Hopscotch, Anxious Irish Dancing, Pavement Darts and Digital Hula-Hooping should be considered as Olympic sports and will be making the case to the leading authority Ph.A.R.S.E. based on the serious research we will undertake at Widcombe Rising.

If you’re unable to try-out for the Brazil 2016 Games at Widcombe, you can take part in Circuit Training at Derby Feste on 22 September 2012. You’ll still have 4 years to practice ready for Brazil.
